  1. Health Physicist

    SC&A, Inc. is seeking a Health Physicist with a minimum of 10 years of experience for our Vienna, Virginia office. Candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. in Health Physics or Nuclear Engineering (certification as a Certified Health Physicist is desired) and have strong written and oral communication skills. Candidates with good customer relations skills and an interest in marketing will be given stronger consideration. Successful applicants will work closely with SC&A’s senior consultants on consulting assignments for the Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and other government and private sector organizations.

    Health physicists at SC&A perform a range of work activities including dose reconstruction, rulemaking activity support, licensing support, emergency planning, NEPA support, and remediation.   2. Acquisition, Logistic, & Deployment Support Specialist

    SC&A, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition, Logistic & Deployment Support Specialist with a BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience providing program management, acquisition, contract execution and life-cycle support to a major DHS or DOD program, planning, acquisition, contract execution and deployment of systems to support the global and domestic radiation and nuclear detection architecture, preparing executive level program briefs, status reports and other documentation, establishing, updating and maintaining budgets and providing inputs to support the FYHSP; reviewing and evaluating OMB Exhibit 300s and other DHS Acquisition Directive 102-01 Acquisition Documents and coordinating program reviews and status briefs.

  3. Acquisition Program Management Support Specialist

    SC&A, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition, Logistic & Deployment Support Specialist with a BS degree in engineering, physics or management science and a minimum of 20 years of experience in Program Management with the planning, acquisition, development, test & evaluation, delivery, installation and deployment of systems to support the global and domestic radiation and nuclear detection architecture. Other experience requirements include monitoring and tracking Prime Contractors cost, schedule and technical performance, preparing draft acquisition documentation; preparing draft executive level program status briefing materials; preparing draft technical instructions; FYHSP and Congressional Justification; OMB 300.
