SC&A staff are expert in all environmental health and safety laws
and pollution control devices used in operating facilities. Our
services for private and government clients include:

systems, including for ISO 14001 compliance

to comply with environmental health and safety laws,
regulations, and standards

Sample Projects
- For a private client, SC&A completed a series of
environmental management assessments, including an
internal assessment of environmental management systems,
practices, and performance; an external survey of the client’s
standing among regulators, politicians, and advocates; and a
detailed benchmarking exercise against leading industry practitioners.
- For the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmentally
Preferable Purchasing Program, SC&A established standards
and guidelines that promote environmentally preferable
purchasing in site environmental management systems, helped
field offices implement them, and coordinated with DOE’s
other preferred product programs.
- For DOE, SC&A developed technical guidance for air permitting,
greenhouse gas reporting, emissions reduction, and Clean Air Act
and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act regulatory programs.
- For the Ohio Environmental Education Fund, SC&A developed
and presented a training program on the U.S. greenhouse gas
reporting rule that received an Honorable Mention from the
Ohio EPA for outreach programs to the regulated community.
- For a private client in the oil and gas sector, SC&A developed
a risk management plan, greenhouse gas monitoring plans, greenhouse
gas emissions inventories, air emissions inventories, and air permit
applications.
- For DOE, SC&A developed training programs on the Clean Air Act
and associated regulatory programs.
