Sample Projects
- For the U.S. Department of Energy Office of NEPA Policy and
Compliance, SC&A planned and conducted two 2½-day meetings for
approximately 100 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
Compliance Officers and members of the wider NEPA community.
- For the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of
Research and Development, SC&A planned and oversaw logistics,
took notes on the proceedings, and drafted highlight summaries
for a series of “New Directions” workshops on EPA reinvention,
risk management, community assessment, and regional science.
- For EPA, SC&A arranged, conducted, and prepared detailed
reports of public meetings in Las Vegas and Amargosa Valley, Nevada,
and Washington, DC, on site-specific environmental standards for a
potential high-level radioactive waste repository at Yucca Mountain,
Nevada. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, SC&A’s
support included arranging appropriate security staff and hiring
local police officers where necessary.
